From Head Start kid to the head of the table.

I started in a Head Start classroom. I grew up to run HR for organizations with thousands of employees across dozens of states. I've had the title, the budget, and the boardroom seat. I didn't just sit at the table. I helped design the room.

I've also had the standing ovation and the empty feeling that followed me to the car. Both taught me something. After 25+ years of helping people find their way at work, I'm finally telling the truth about finding my own.

I'm a wife, a boy mom, a proud dog mom, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Skee-Wee!). I believe HR belongs in the strategy conversation, and I believe you belong in your own life.
